In Buttonfly, we have launched a truly artistic and ecological wooden badge department. We will burn any shape on this graceful material for you, which will create a unique and aesthetically made badge. Such a badge is technically called a pin because it is attached using a butterfly clutch. But that’s not all, because we also make magnetic wooden badges. Wooden badges are environmentally friendly because they do not contain plastic.

Fashionable and eco-friendly wooden badges

Above, you had the opportunity to see sample wooden badges that we’ve produced for our clients’ orders and for promotional purposes for our own company. The greatest advantages of these badges are that they are made without the use of plastic, but rather from wood, making them eco-friendly, and they have a modern look – they are very tasteful. Attached to the back of the badge, in any custom-cut shape with a burnt-out pattern of your choice, is a butterfly clutch that you can easily detach and reattach to the pin at any time. This type of fastening also means that wooden badges are sometimes referred to as wooden pins.

Wooden badges – fastenings

As mentioned above, the basic type of fastening for wooden badges in our store is the butterfly clutch. It is a tried and tested, reliable fastening, and you can see how a badge with a butterfly clutch looks in the pictures above. In reality, they are more like pins than badges, but these terms are often mixed up and confused.

If you are interested in a different type of fastening, we also produce wooden badges with neodymium magnets – single or double. You simply detach the magnet located at the back, transfer it to the other side of the clothing, and connect it to a special pad permanently attached to the badge. It’s worth noting that this type of fastening is as durable as the butterfly pin, but by attaching these badges with magnets, you don’t have to pierce the fabric. The neodymium magnet used is really strong and holds the badge perfectly even on thicker clothing materials.

The last option, custom-made in Buttonfly store, is a wooden fridge magnet. In this case, a magnet is placed on the back of your ordered wooden badge, cut out in a specific shape and with a burnt-out graphic, allowing you to attach the gadget to metal surfaces, such as a refrigerator.

If you are interested in a standard product, i.e., a badge made of plywood with maximum dimensions of 40x40mm and a butterfly fastening, simply go to the wooden badge product page and add the quantity you are interested in to your cart. The same goes for wooden badges with dimensions of up to 40x40mm with a single or double magnet fastening (the product pages for these items are provided above). Then, depending on your preferences, you can send us your graphic design for the pins, commission us to create one, or choose one from our database of ready-made designs. We will promptly provide a quote for your individual order.

Individual shape and design of wooden badges

Regardless of whether you are buying badges up to the size of 40x40mm or ordering larger ones, you choose the shape of your wooden pins – we can make literally any shape. Similarly, you decide on the graphic design – you create it yourself, commission us to create it, or choose from our range of ready-made designs for laser engraving on the badge. Badges with a logo are excellent gadgets. Furthermore, in the case of burnt-out graphics, you can choose the depth of engraving and the degree of burning – the effect of grayscale.

Most often, wooden badges are used as promotional items and souvenirs. For promotional purposes, you can order, for example, wooden pins with a burnt-out company logo, i.e., logo pins. As for souvenirs, we can burn a text, symbol, or anything associated with the place where you run your souvenir shop or organize an event or even a wedding, as we also make wooden wedding badges. Furthermore, we can create sets of badges attached to cardboard, which can serve as a plain background or a graphic addition for the badges.
